Big Browns Report post Posted April 11, 2012 I'm looking for a Cabin in Payson to rent for my Elk hunt from Nov-30 to Dec 6. I would like to find a cabin that is centraly located around Payson, because 3 of the guys have the north hunt and I have the south hunt. If anyone knows of a good one to rent I would really appreciate the info. Price is important. I'm trying to find something that is under $1000 for the week. Do you have access to a travel trailer or toyhauler? There is a small private RV park that borders north and south, that could be a good fit for you. I bought a toyhauler in 2010 for an elk hunt I had in early Dec in 22. I still have it up there, I keep it at the Lamplighter which is in Star Valley, we have run a host of elk, deer, javelina, bear hunts and fishing trips out of it the last two years. Its pretty much turnkey, I just show up and turn on the water. I keep a Polaris Ranger up there and a small 14' fishing boat for trout. We have 10 tags in 22 for elk this year, one tag is over the same timeframe you have. I actually have a friend with an early bull MZ tag in 22S in september, I am excited about that hunt, it looks to be rougher than snot too, Take Care, JLG.
