deercrazy Report post Posted April 10, 2012 Well, the story is not wrong, but as stated, they should have known that everyone, I believe I saw that 133,000 had put in for the draw, would want to check results. it does mention hunter websites as a source of misinformation, but there were also double digit pages of people responding that their credit cards had been hit, so... since game and fish monitors this site, they should have known. Redman Report post Posted April 11, 2012 One can read into as they may, but one line sums it up enough for me. "But this situation is unacceptable and our customers deserved better. We'll be conducting a detailed review of the process and procedures internally and with the vendor to fix problems to ensure they don't occur in the future." It is unacceptable and it better not occur again.

They aren't smart enough to upgrade servers and hire a firm that has a track record.

It is not other peoples money that will pay for what you want.
jmwarren65 Report post Posted April 12, 2012 One possible solution is for G&F to email or text individual results to cell phones or email addresses. Easy to do, not overly expensive, they can push the info out and reduce the number of people trying to log in at one time. Just my $0.02.

How about just spending the millions they recieve every year on things that need to be improved. What freakin perk. How about just doing their job. I am sick of government agencies squandering money they recieve. And when something is needing upgraded their is no money. This is just poor planning. It's not that hard to improve their system if they really wanted to. I apply in other states and don't have nearly as many problems that I have had in Arizona. If they can't do it right then just wait until they mail the info out. Don't tell us we can go on line or phone, when we really can't. I don't use their online applications for the simple fact that too many people have had problems. I just send my check in and wait.
