stanley Report post Posted March 1, 2004 Welcome Alan! I don't post much, but I watch this board daily. Very cool bunch of folks here! Good company.... I grew-up in Kearny (son of a copper miner) hunting muleys in 37B & 24A, but have been bitten by the coues bug of late. I've found lots of good help here, and great stories as well! Good luck! S. standman Report post Posted March 1, 2004 Hey Alan. Welcome. As for me I'm from Lakeside, Az, in the White Mountains. My family was one of the first to settle the area. I am a religious archery coues hunter. As a matter of fact, I would rather chase the gray ghost than chase the moster bulls that call this area home. Once again welcome aboard. KGAINES Report post Posted March 4, 2004 Welcome Alan, as far as coues go I am 0 for 2 and hopefully I will get to try again this year. These guys here have got me closer each of the last two years with their insight and knowledge. I'm a native Arizonan, live near Lake Pleasant, and work at golf courses on John Deere equipment. Kevin Report post Posted March 4, 2004 I've hung around this site now for 6 months or so and have been bow hunting Coues deer for 3 years. I have learned an incredible amount already and anticipate helping newbies out some day. I make my living in Las Cruces, New Mexico as a Research specialist at NMSU. Looking forward to hunting Arizona this fall with an old friend.
