It was the barrel system with all paper applications back then. My trick was to put in the last day of the application process which almost always spelled success. TLH Report post Posted April 4, 2012 Myself noticed a large number of people that got hit on credit cards,and i wouldnt put it past game and fish doin like a 60 to 70% success rate for people that applied via credit card as it makes it alot easier on them not having to deal with checks and money orders,maybe they are tryin to let the public know in a certain way for in the future the majority put in for the draw using credit cards,just my thinking tho,dont know if that is even a possible scenario or not. I had THE conversation with my wife when we were still dating. Explained to her that I would be going hunting often and she needed to accept that. Luckily or unluckily she decided she wasn't going to let me have all the fun and now she also loves hunting big game. Some of our best times together have been on those hunts. I thought she just wanted to go and camp etc and seeings how it was with my good buddy in 36b, and we tend to put some liquor away and talk about stuff the lady in the family shouldnt hear, I wouldnt let her go... when I shot my pig and told her how thick into pigs we were, she was mad.... Told me she wanted to shoot one! I told her well if I would have known that, you would have had first shot! And she now wants a carry weapon to carry in her purse all the time! Awesome!
