WHT_MTNMAN Report post Posted March 21, 2012 My beautiful wife has had some pretty good luck over the years. She shot her first Coues buck a couple years ago on the first morning. And then last year got drawn for mule deer and killed a really good buck right at sunrise on the first morning. We've discussed how it doesn't always happen this way. She also shot her bucks off "the claw" with my 300 RUM, missed the first shot and I took some clicks off my turret and she hammered him through the shoulders. I'm proud of her. I love hunting with my family what a blessing I have to spend time in the woods with them. cramerhunts Report post Posted March 21, 2012 Wow that is a heck of a first mule deer. Congratulations to her! I use and love the claw and my daughter took her first deer last year off of it and I don't believe it could have been done with out it (at least not at the distance she shot from).
