I've dealt with dealerships up here in the Prescott area and quite honestly would rather drive to the valley than do it again.

I have done it all, from working small dealerships to HUGE ones. I have also worked as a auto broker. To be clear I do not work as any sort of car/truck saleman any more but I would be happy to share any information with you from my past experiences.

I haven't bought a new truck in awhile, but I am a new car salesman's worst nightmare.

 

Buy at the end of the month.

 

Avoid dealer financing, just don't tell them that you wil not be financing with them, until after they agree to a number.Don't let them run credit checks through their financing affiliates.

 

Go into the dealership with a folder full of information and a calculator, they really hate that!

I have purchased 3 new vehicles from Avondale Toyota in the last 18 months. I appreciate their no pressure and working with one person from start to finish. They are a one price dealership and I paid about 400 over invoice for my Tundra and got 500 down payment assistance from TFS and 0% interest. I got a very fair value on my trade-in as well.

 

If you are interested I can give you the name of the salesman we used but I am sure that any there are great.
