COOSEFAN Report post Posted May 10, 2006 Yeah I know what you mean! It was really hard to get the girls to pose, that one was like the 8th try! The self-timer beeping on the camera finally caught there attention! You can see in Gracie's saddle bag an arrow I found on the way up, was possibly shot at a Mulie or a pig. That mtn. gets hit pretty hard during the seasons. Thanks, JIM
standman Report post Posted May 10, 2006 These are my favorite photos that i have taken. The first is an 11 year old and his first javelina that I was honored to be apart of, and the second is a spring gobbler that my brother harvested this year. I just love the colors that showed up in the bird.
youngbuck Report post Posted May 10, 2006 This was my first big animal, before this the biggest thing I ever shot was a rabbit. I was 10 and I was shooting a 243 I was afraid of the 7mag. My dad said I didn't have to shoot the 7mag if I was good enough with the 243. I was shooting less than 3 inch groups at 100 yards. I saw more bulls on this hunt than I had ever seen on any other. I had a huge 6x6 stare me down at 50 yards, he was storting and scarping the dirt, I was on the ground so that was cool. I probably had shots on 5-7 different bulls befor I had one on a cow. The cow I shot was with two giant bulls who hung around 20 minutes after I shot her, still to this day I think those two bulls were bigger that any ive seen in real life. I made a heart shot at 100 yards. She dropped in 10 yards. Looking back now it was really cool watching my dad, and how happy he was. I know now why he was so happy, I took my younger sister hunting pigs last year and I felt the same way when she shot hers. if the tag didn't work here is the link http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h225/you...k86/cropelk.jpg
CouesWhitetail Report post Posted May 10, 2006 Definitely some great images and stories here. Just a little advice to make posting the pics easier for you. When you make a post, look at the toolbar just above where you type. Look for the small button that looks like a photo of a tree with blue sky behind it. Click on that button when you have your cursor placed where you want the image to appear. When you click on the button you will be prompted to enter a URL. Paste in the URL where your image is located and it should show up without everyone having to click on a link. Example, if you have your image stored in photobucket like youngbuck did, the URL is http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h225/you...k86/cropelk.jpg Just click on tiny button that looks like a photo of a tree and paste the URL into where it prompts you for it. If you don't have your image uploaded to some place on the net, you can use the "add this attachment" feature below where you type in the message to browse for your file on your harddrive. COOSEFAN Report post Posted May 11, 2006 This is my one and only Bobcat. He was a fat one and the biggest one I've personnally held. I predator called for several years with my biggest goal being to finally get a bobcat, so it was definitely a big deal for me. They are awesome critters! singleshot Report post Posted May 11, 2006 A good day, and good friends. My wifes biggest buck. The body size was incredible. The canyon he lived in was so steep that we had to stuff rocks under him to hold him on the hillside. After pictures I pulled out the rocks and he tumbled about 150 yards to the bottom. I just wish he would have kept tumbling up the other side! My daughter Kyla with her first harvest. She will only shoot javies "because they're ugly" Scratched off the list. My sons first Turkey.
