bowhunter81 Report post Posted March 26, 2012 Yea what's up with cutting out all their cow elk permits to non residents? We should cut out all our bull tags for non residents since they think its ok to cut us off. They claim its so more residents get a chance to hunt elk.... Wow wouldn't that be nice if the azgfd did that here... New Mexicans wouldn't like that too much

I agree I guess AZ should limit them as well. I wouldn't mind having better odds.
buffhunter Report post Posted March 26, 2012 Well we cap it a 10% but it gets to me how they cater to the guides and give them better draw odds for their clients
bowhunter81 Report post Posted March 26, 2012 That proves its partially about wildlife and all about money. Too many wine bags crying about how their clients need more opportunities so they can make more money. Leaving so little opportunities for the D.I.Y hunter whoms tag cost their game dept. The same , sounds shady too me
Coach Report post Posted March 27, 2012 First year in a long time I won't be applying to NM for anything. They don't want us out-of-state DIY hunters, so I won't buy a license to apply. Funny thing is, the outfitters will still make their money but the state will lose out on applicants. It will be interesting to see how long the state will lose money so that the outfitters can take advantage of this law before they wake up. No worries, we have plenty of game right here.
DesertBull Report post Posted March 27, 2012 I think SFW should go to NM and fix their problems too.

Willyhunts2 Report post Posted March 27, 2012 Today is the day people start with the my card was hit! I will be obsessively checking my account every 5 minutes and get nothing done all day, at least that's what I'm hoping for. Good luck to everyone!
