CEI Report post Posted March 16, 2012 We made a quick shed hunting trip this week to one of our favorite Northern Arizona units. We were able to get in about 2 hours of shedding before the sun went down. On the way back to the truck we found this old massive antler. It wasn't a great find, but it was an antler. Although, Arizona has received below average precipitation this winter, we did manage to find a fair amount of snow to play in. Pretty sure the kids enjoyed sliding around in snow more than looking for ghost antlers. We woke up the next morning & got packed up with great anticipation, as we had found an area with a lot of bull elk sign. Well, that was very short-lived as the Cam Shaft Positioning Sensor took a crap in our truck. It was not the best shed hunting trip, but we still had fun & made some memories...
