Would you have a look at this muley??? I had heard MANY reports of a new world record typical several years ago. The guy was a reclusive man from SW Colorado. Is this him??? Henry Mtns Utah 2004 Sportmans tag. Are you envious? I am. Can you imagine whacking a buck like this one? Have a look at this whopper Coues buck taken by the great dedicated hunter M. CHD Report post Posted April 28, 2006 A helluva Kaibab buck taken in 2005. You may have seen this one before. This photo is of a good friend of mine's (and his wife's) beautiful big Coues bucks. He lives in Show Low. The one at the top scores 136+ and was taken by his wife. The rest are his........and score 102 to 121. He has AT LEAST twice this many that score in the same range. Can you imagine having a collection of your own like this??? I can't! WHAT A TURN ON PHOTO!!! I am told this is a 218 NT muley from AZ. Maybe you have seen it before. Check out the archery gear. A beautiful 183 buck from 13A in 2005. What a beautiful fat-necked, thick-nosed mature buck! I may be wrong.........but looks like Tuweep Canyon to me. Nothin' like seeing a monster muley..........even if spotting one in the off season is plenty enough. I for one...........don't need to kill anymore. Check out he HUGE body and neck and head on this PIG!!! What a big 'ol rounder and survivor of a mule deer buck! I have nothing but respect for these great 'ol bucks! I'm not commercializing these magnificent animals here, believe me............. I have had more than enough of that sheet. I am posting these for your enjoyment and motivation only. I'm about done with trophy hunting myself.......... AZ 2005 23S 397 P & Y gross w/ 20"+ of breakage. AZGFD has waaaaaaaaay too many bulls per cow ratio. Kaibab 2005. Holy cow. Sonora 2005. I have heard about a 230" framed buck taken this season. This one is a HAWG approaching that size.........but is it him??? Can you even imagine seeing a buck like this while hunting? CHD Report post Posted April 30, 2006 Everything is fine with my posts, Amanda. However.....everything is not fine with trophy hunting these days. It has really changed in the last 5 to 8 years, and not for the better. Me and many others are really sick of the Garth Carter's, the Ryan Hatch's, and the Doyle Moss' doing whatever it takes to kill these magnificent animals all in the name of $$$$$$ and selling hunts, vids, and magazines. It is sickening. The magazines like Eastmans, Trophy Hunter, and Muley Crazy and the latest DVD's are now filled with stories about big animals killed by the use and reward of $$$$$$$ and other immoral means. Finders fees are astounding, these days. The use of "gang hunting" has taught the common hunter and younger generation that "this is how you do it". 8 to 10 guys just to find and kill one big buck on the Strip? Why wouldn't you succeed and get your picture in a magazine using 8 buddies? How the heck is a big buck to survive an army coming after him? I am sick of it all. Trophy hunting is supposed to be about personal satisfaction...........and nothing else. It is supposed to be between you and the animal. Whatever happened to using your knowledge of the animal's habits and behaviors and hard work to harvest an animal..............all by your lonesome? Now we have gang hunting, chute planes, trail cams, 700 yard rifles, huge finders fees, and private land raised animals being utilized instead of good old fashioned hunting knowledge. I'm about done with it all. And, some of these animals I've posted here may have been taken this way. But I dunno which, if any, were. I am posting these for motivational purposes only so that you all will know that there are big animals out there. Get out there and do it ALL yourself on public land. It is sooooooo much more satisfying that way. Here are a few more pics. This one was in the magazines a long time ago. Scores 93.5 SCI, taken in New Mexico at least a decade ago. Late Wyoming hunt......dunno which unit. Scores 383 B & C net. British Columbia 2005. 218 gross frame. This one's been all over the net. This is one MONSTER muley! Another British Columbia buck from 2005. 217 typical frame. Holy cow. A Washoe County, NV buck from 2005. Scores 83" w/ breakage. Another 2005 Wyoming bull, 365 net P & Y. I like the hunts where guys are scouting all over the unit, or the whole state even, spot a big critter and sit on it till the "hunter" can fly in and kill it. CHD Report post Posted May 4, 2006 Okay .25-06, you caught me in a lie. I actually moved to Twodot, Montana, where I am a janitor for the school district. I am only claiming to be an AZ resident just to buddy up with you guys. Muley, I do indeed live and work in Kingman and have been here since late March. I don't know anyone except the 60 people who I work with in a professional office. BTW .25-06, I don't lie. The secret is.............to separate my neverending sarcasm...........from the truth.
