olmos1010 Report post Posted March 20, 2012 Went out with my dogs on Sat. to hang some cameras/stands up on Mt. Ord. Went to bed in the truck that night with just some high winds. I had checked the weather before leaving and it called for rain throughout the night but should have been cleared up in the morning. I woke up around 3am to a complete white out with about 8in of fresh snow on the ground and it still coming down pretty hard. Tried to pack up and get out of there but I was too late. My 4cyl 2wd hombre wasnt going to make it out. So I packed up the goods and dressed warm. I called my pop and told him to start heading to Mt. Ord and I'll meet him at the bottem. I gave my dogs a big piece of steak and headed out in the snow. After a long hike to the bottem me and my dogs made it home safely. As for my truck, well its still up there.
