Guest oneshot Report post Posted March 7, 2012 I'm back in Arizona and already planning another trip back to the Island in June for the Tarpon, Permit, and Bonefish(hopeing for a grandslam) but chaseing bones is super fun and this special spot on earth has HUNDEREDS of bonefish so your chances are way high of seeing your backing off your 8wt. and wondering if that fly-line to backing knot is REALY tight, something that happens all day. The bonefish live on the Turneffe Atoll Flats, where the lodge is located, so they are there at all stages of the tide and finding tailers, cruisers, and even layed-up fish is "easy" when you get keyed to the signs of bonefish(visable tails, nervious water, fish crossing turtle grass to clean white sand bottoms, etc)... jbeee Report post Posted March 23, 2012 I went last year and fished from El Pescador Lodge. I absolutely love it down there. If you've never been, you should really think about it.
