utah400elk Report post Posted March 4, 2012 From another site... "Peay, who stressed that the Utah chapter isn't trying to push its view in Alaska or even with the Alaska chapter, said it's time to revisit the widely accepted principle in the United States and Canada that game is a public resource. Peay described that egalitarian doctrine, found in Alaska's state constitution and laws throughout the West, as "socialism." It offers no economic incentive for landowners to kill predators, improve big game habitat and even provide food and water for target species." This is starting to get crazy. Revisit the widely accepted principle that game is a public resource? It is a public resource Don! WTF? Comming soon to AZ? If so, any bets that this ideal will be pushed by AZSFW. Landowner tags? The next 800 pound gorilla in AZ?

archerycrazy Report post Posted March 4, 2012 I have read this and I am very concerned. Could something like this occur in Arizona if we allow anything similar to HB 2072 move forward? I have copied and pasted it and sent to several that I trust. George
.270 Report post Posted March 4, 2012 You better believe it can. A lotta Guys with lots of money think they are entitled to things. The po' folk get the crumbs. These guys want unlimited permits so they can shoot all the stuff they want that is tied down by their posse. They aren't hunters. They aren't even sportsmen. All they do is pay guys to sit on animals until they get the time to jet in and shoot it. Only they got tired of only one big bull or buck at a time and got tired of only one rich guy a year getting to shoot stuff that way. They devised this ripoff so them, their kids and all their pals could get in on the fun. Have you heard anything from sci or b&c? heck no. They were on uso's side too. This runs deep. And it has been in the works for years. Lark.
