Red Rabbit Report post Posted April 17, 2006 Congratulations Vini. Calling Gobblers can be as exciting a calling elk or yotes. Gotta love that verbal interaction. Doug~RR

5yearcoueshunter Report post Posted April 18, 2006 Vini, congrats on your opening day Tom! There is nothing like Spring Turkey season. I'm itching to go. I didn't get to go the first weekend but do plan on going this weekend. A buddy of mine got his first Turkey on opening day. He said they were gobblin the mountain down and I think he's hooked for life. Again, congrats on a good looking bird. Travis
111 Report post Posted April 19, 2006 Congrats Vini that's a good Tom. I hunted the NM Spring hunt for the first time this last weekend and had a blast. The birds did the same in my situations as well, they let out a couple gobbles and came in silent the rest of the way. Again great Job!
