az4life Report post Posted April 13, 2006 Sounds like a great gig. I gotta believe the work will give you at least SOME free time and that seems like a great place to be in the summer. Congrats and send back some pictures.

Red Rabbit Report post Posted April 13, 2006 http://www.lakemarie.com/ A friend and his wife-to-be spent a working summer in AK at a lodge while in college, had a great time, but lost a lot of sleep as the time after work was spent flyfishing. Have a great time! RR

You'll also make some friends that will last a life-time! Make the most of it! Alaska is an amazing place. I'm planning on going back there some day with my sons & daughter, and I can't wait. DesertBull Report post Posted April 13, 2006 Last year, on my plane ride back from Alaska, I sat next to young kid that was returning from a summer at Doc Warner's Fish Camp. He had some amazing pics and video of big salmon and halibut and he had 12 boxes of fish on board he was bring back! He told me he would be bring a rifle and buying a wolf tag the following year because he saw a lot of them. You'll have fun. Oh yeah, this guy was ate up from head to toe with bug bites.
