TLH Report post Posted February 22, 2012 Pretty sure it was a J-13 call--perfect calling sequence for pigs too--note it sounded just like a little red getting eaten by something. Very cool!

briant_az Report post Posted February 23, 2012 Oh man I jumped when I saw him going toward your dad! I never believed that calling pigs worked until this year. A buddy called some in and I still cant believe it happened. That is probably the coolest javelina video that I have ever seen! Im getting a call for next year!!!! azman Report post Posted February 23, 2012 Terry - It is an old circi call that they do not make anymore. It does have the jackrabbit reed in it. It is very effective and the other calls I have tried does not have the same pitch. TJ - What you are not able to see in the video is that pig was standing there like the first pig that ran by looking at my brother. Eric had the camera on other pigs. When he woofed at him the pig came unglued and charged him. His head was up looking at him. What you also did not see in the video is my brother already moving backwards. We have been calling in pigs for more than 30 years and this is the first time this has happend. I have had them run by brushing my legs. Once we are done editing the entire hunt it will be posted.

I to use an old circi call but mine has a cottontail reed. Can't wait to see the final product. Keep up the good work.
