Obama has been the NRA's best friend since being elected. I would imagine the membership has gone way up.... and remember the post election frenzy on ammo and weapons...the NRA had to benefit I have often said I missed out on a few bubbles... pagers...cell phones...internet...smart phones... and guns / ammo after Obama was elected... maybe I should look a head to next year... "Fast and Furious" is just ground work for his next term when all bets are off. He would not be concerned about reelection. The President is part of the Executive Branch in the US Government that can only sign laws put forth by the Legislative Branch (or veto)...the President does have the power to enact an Executive order...BUT ABOLISHING THE SECOND AMENDMENT IS NOT GONNA HAPPEN with an executive order....while Pres. Problem is, America is getting dumber by the day and we just let this butt-clown do whatever he wants. What has this president done for the USA? The economy has sucked, the jobs have sucked, and now 10 months before election the stock market is rising the jobs are up and the handout money for housing is up all he is doing is trying to put a quick fix for the next 10 months and then he will lay the boom down. he has pulled our troops from the middle east against advise not to. he has taken care of his pedople from chicago by handing them big time control of major positions within the federal gov't against congress. he will only do more damage if re-elected. he is a muslim. he hate's AMERICA. he has cost tax payers more money than any other president for security and self spending. he is a JOKE Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Obama, given a 2nd term, wouldn't attempt, even under an executive order anything that wouldn't damage the 2nd Amendment is crazy. He is no friend of this our country as established by our founding fathers. Everything he is doing now and in the next 9 months, will haunt this country for the next decade, if not longer. Imagine what he can do with another term. It makes my skin crawl that this country elected the POS. Who is to say that the NRA is not trying to scare everyone so that we all rush to join up, and send in those donation checks.? The NRA is the single most valuable voice for us and our gun rights. But I got really tired of all the NRA envelopes in my mail box asking for money. It got old in a hurry! krp Report post Posted February 11, 2012 I'm not a fan of fear mongering and it's as old as religion, statistically it gets results from those that are not able to use rational thought on an issue... more of a donation producer than a vote producer, which is fine I suppose. Redman is right in that the President can't abolish the 2nd amendment. We need to win the Senate this election cycle. Our biggest danger we face with another Obama administration is the Supreme court appointees, a liberal court can do extensive damage to our 2A rights and some of our Conservative judges are hanging on as it is hoping for a GOP presidency so they can retire... it's 5 to 4 now, we'll lose the supreme court if Obama is reelected. .270 Report post Posted February 12, 2012 Fear mongers or not, if obama gets 4 more, he will do serious harm to all liberty and freedom. He has surrounded himself with people that are anti freedom. He can say what he wants and weak people will believe it, but he wants your freedom. Guns are just a part of it. He cant remove an amendment, but with liberal judges, he can severely limit them. And with a weak minded electorate he can do a lot of bad. Folks with big investment in GM didn't think he could take their stock and give it to the uaw either, but he did. Lark.
