Shooter McGavin Report post Posted February 5, 2012 Went out there today with my 8 yr old boy and had a blast. We did both courses and kept score. I was shooting my new (at least new to me)PSE Mach X and my boy was shooting his recurve. The distances were anywhere from 20 yds to 44 yds, the boy pretty much stayed around the 20 yd distance the whole time and absolutely loved it. I did end up losing one arrow, not happy about that one bit, but still enjoyed the company of my son and the beautiful weather. My son thoroughly enjoyed two of the 30 targets that we shot at. One was a stegasauras dinosaur and the other was a baboon monkey, he thought it was a kick in the butt to shoot at 2 creatures that don't belong in the Az desert. Can't wait to do it again.
