gmcbob Report post Posted January 26, 2012 Looking for a gererator. Honda Eu1000 or Eu2000 An EU2000 is on my wish list too. If you want to buy new, A to Z on Baseline & Stapley in Mesa has the best pricing I've found. I believe the EU2000 was $920 + tax. Bob
rugerman Report post Posted January 26, 2012 I have an older model Honda EM2500 I could part with for $350. Low hours runs great. Google it up and see if it would meet your needs
kninebirddog Report post Posted January 26, 2012 For us I want to get 2 of the Eu2000 generally one will work great but when we need the microwave or the AC or the plug in heater then can just piggy back the second one

tjhunt2 Report post Posted January 28, 2012 Before I bought my EU300 I looked around for the lowest prices and found no one could beat APD Power Center. They're located at 412 W. Gemini Dr. Tempe, Az 480- 838-7472 My EU3000 won't run my air conditioing on my trailer but I hear they will run the newer models. My model is a 2000.Going with two EU2000 is a good choice. I believe the next one up from the EU3000 is the EU6500. Good luck! TJ
Big Tub Report post Posted January 28, 2012 We have 2 of the 2000's. They are awesome, quiet, and reliable. I doubt you will find them used. I bought mine used from a guy selling a trailer my bro-in-law bought. I didn't save all that much. I found out afterwards that I could get them at the local Honda shop (Musselman's) just as cheap as the internet. But I got all kinds of instruction there: Like don't leave the gas in it and how to start it. If you don't need the quiet or light weight, that deal above is a smoking deal! I like the 2000's because you can lift them without breaking your back.
