crittergetter Report post Posted January 21, 2012 Here's a picture of my 2011 bull elk taken in Unit 4A. I shot him on the 2nd day of the hunt and glad I didn't pass him up. He's not the biggest bull; but I was up there for the whole week and he's the only bull I saw. I think our group only saw 3 or 4 bulls total. We saw several cows, but not many bulls. I was surprised because this particular area holds a ton of em' during the archery hunt. Nonetheless, it was a good time spent hunting with my brother and friends. BTW, I highly recommend the Havalon Piranta. Skinned and quartered the entire elk with ease, using just one blade. Well actually, the blade broke with just five inches to go on the final cut.
