I have always been taught, by some very good instructors, to keep your eye on the front sight, and the target, blurred out of course, behind. The way I understand this type of sighting device, you would need to look away from the front sight, however brief, and that would be a bad thing. But like I said, I have never tried one. DesertBull Report post Posted April 3, 2006 I like mine, but you have to practice with it. You don't really need to take your eye off the target. You can see it in your peripherial vision. It is very durable. No moving parts. nothing attatched to your string. It is a bear to get adjusted at first, but once it is dialed in, you don't have to touch it again.
