Sportsmans Warehouse Bucks and Bulls Contest

Hopefully most of you have seen the banner ad at the top of the forum promoting this contest that Sportsmans Warehouse has been holding. Well the deadline is coming up in a couple days and so if you want to enter your buck or bull, the time is now! You have to enter your trophy by Saturday. Call the mesa sportsmans warehouse for more info or just stop by the store with your trophy and fill out the entry form. Basically you leave the trophy there and they will have them all SCI scored the following Saturday and announce the winners. Top winners get a few hundred bucks to spend at Sportsmans!

 

I stopped by the store the other day and saw some GREAT trophies! There were some excellent Coues, Muleys and Elk. The trophies are displayed up on the ceiling and it's hard to get good photos, especially with just my cell phone, but here are a few pics. Check out the coues in velvet!! It's hanging upside down and was really hard to get pics of, but it's a brute.

I was in there yesterday and was quite taken with all the good looking trophies. There are some awesome coues for sure. It's worth a trip there.

The SW contest has several sponsors and they just sort of naturally divided them up as sponsoring a particular section but really all major sponsors are supporting all parts of the contest. So feel free to bring your elk down there. I believe the elk turned in will have a sponsored by the AZ Elk Society sign on them.

You are welcome to take your elk down for the contest as long as it does not beat me out! LOL!!

Mine is the first elk rifle elk , Its very wide scores 351 . At last check I am still in second place , Some of those archery bulls are pretty big.

My son has a mule deer in the youth category. His name is also Mason Davis

I saw that velvet coues in there one day and just sat there and stared. Unbelievable. It's worth the trip down there just to see that one, not to mention all the others.

I got my sons buck that he shot in Oct down there tonight. We will see how he does for a Jr???
