DesertBull Report post Posted March 15, 2006 Anyone ever try the Cass Creek calls? http://www.casscreek.com/prod_predator2.html
bullwidgeon Report post Posted March 15, 2006 Yeah, They aren't very loud though. You might be able to work something out with a $15 Radioshack Mini Amplifier and an outdoor loudspeaker though. Hook the call up to the amp with an audio patch cable, then run the outdoor speaker to the amp. I had a Johnny Stewart Convert a Caller that the amp broke on and replaced it with the Radioshack amp and so far so good. I have my set up running off a Sony Discman playing Johnny Stewart CD's but the idea is the same so it should work. Good luck Bret M.
HEADACHE Report post Posted March 16, 2006 I have called in a few dogs with them. . . they are easy to use, What I do is mouth call really loud in all directions and then switch on the cass call . . . if they are within earshot, they will come running. I am pretty pleased with them. I'll say they don't carry as far as my little tape call though, but nice size.
