nhunter84 Report post Posted January 5, 2012 Started at least a day old track. The dogs took it into an area where there had been a bunch of elk come through and I couldnt tell where the lion had gone through there and the dogs went a little ways and came back so I headed back out to road and drove farther up to see if maybe I would get lucky and find where it had crossed that night. No luck, so went back and let the dogs back out on it again in that mess of elk and just gave them time to sort through it. We went maybe a half mile up this creek and next thing I know the dogs were hauling butt. I looked down the hill and found a deer kill and walked down to check it out and by the time I was at the deer kill I could hear the dogs treed 600 yards up the hill.
