standman Report post Posted January 4, 2012 Well today was about as slow as it gets. No deer seen. Pics show several bucks but they are working through at night. Only a matter of time before one screws up. I'll be by myself tomorrow. My dad is taking a day to rest up. Should be a good day tomorrow, found a lucky horseshoe while walking out today. standman Report post Posted January 5, 2012 Well I sat from 7 am till 330 pm. Never had a deer come through. Pics still show the activity at night. Only deer I saw today was a doe and fawn that I jumped this afternoon walking in to check out another spot. That's ok though, It's just a matter of putting my time in. Last year it took till late January before I got it done. Just got to be patient. Did get a lot of reading done today though. Back to it again tomorrow. Took some pics of a few of the scrapes that we are hunting. Brian
