COUESAZ Report post Posted December 29, 2011 My brother in Benson is looking for a good gun smith in the Tucson area. He drives to Tucson for work every day so anyone that knows of one let me know. Thanks.

audsley Report post Posted December 31, 2011 I didn't know Joe Reid (referenced in Scoutm's link) was back at Lawson's. He is indeed a first-rate gunsmith. So is Frank Wells, who works part-time at 2nd Amendment Sports, or at least did last I knew. At either of these places you might not get the gunsmith of your choice, but I'm reasonably confident you'll get good service anyway.
POB Report post Posted December 31, 2011 I had my Mod. 70 in 2nd amend. for a trigger job. They did a great job, completed ahead af schedule, for a good price. I'd go back.
BeardownAZ Report post Posted January 3, 2012 I had my Mod. 70 in 2nd amend. for a trigger job. They did a great job, completed ahead af schedule, for a good price. I'd go back. Was that Mod 70 a newer FN made model or older one? I want my trigger dropped to about 2.5 lbs but none of the ones I talked to would go below the factory adjustable mark, which sucks. Interested in this post as well.
