coues32 Report post Posted March 9, 2006 What would you guys think about a proposal to lower lion tag fees back to 1.50 for res. 20.00 for non res.Maybe incourage more taking of lions.Might produce more deer(more deer tags).Always run into someone who seen a lion that they didn't shoot, because no tag, didnt know was open.I am a non resident now,and wont spend that much money on a tag that i'll probably won't fill. And i did see a lion this last Nov. hunt.Just a thought. Thanks
DesertBull Report post Posted March 9, 2006 They should just issue a lion tag with every deer, elk and pig tag they sell or give you the option of using your big game tag on a lion if you choose to do so.
azhuntnut Report post Posted March 9, 2006 This idea has been brought up to game and fish, and they think that it will cause alot of problems with the animal activists. I don't see why it should matter what they think. Idahocoueshunter Report post Posted March 9, 2006 I'd pay $20.00 for a lion tag. Several years ago, We found 8 lion killed bucks in just a couple days of hunting. I heard a lion last year. Locals say that lion were up. I would rather gamble on not using a lion tag, than needing one and not having it. Craig.
