Guest AZ>NMcouesaddict Report post Posted March 17, 2006 Save some for me. I'm stuck in Seattle and will be back in NM tomorrow. I've been twitching in class just thinking of all the lucky people who are out picking the sheds up. My brother's been picking them up in N. AZ. I found some good country with quite a few sheds in NM and can't wait to get started. Make sure you all leave me some for my weekend visits to AZ. Good luck. I'd like to post some photos but can't figure it how. Any tips???
GRONG Report post Posted March 18, 2006 AZNMaddict dude, hey man go to www.photobucket.com and upload your pics on there, once they're no there click on the IMG button above where you write your text on this forum then cut and paste the link into it, it's pretty easy and it doesn't eat up space on Amanda's site. Good luck and find some biggins.
300 wsm Report post Posted March 19, 2006 I have found a few good sheds from this year so far, but that was about two weeks ago. When the snow clears I will be back out.
Guest AZ>NMcouesaddict Report post Posted March 20, 2006 Thanks Josh, I'll give it a whirl. See what happens. Do you still get out to look for sheds for yourself or does buying sheds consume to much time? I think I've met you before. My brother and I used to sell alot of sheds. Started out with a fellow in flag, witha couple other buyers in between, then switched to a guy out of fence lake nm. Wish I would have kept some of them sheds. I don't have the time I used to, but still manage to get my share every year. I noticed here in Reserve, there's alot of people that swamp these hills. Every come over as far as NM to buy? Thanks for the help.
Guest AZ>NMcouesaddict Report post Posted March 20, 2006 March used to be good to me and my brother. Here's what we picked up in March a few years ago. Most of this was in the Rim country of AZ. Let's see if this works

Coues 'n' Sheep Report post Posted March 20, 2006 Here are some browns that my buddy Luke found in about a day and 2 hrs. of horn hunting. It is hard to tell from the pic but the two singles on the outsides are each 165+ inch sides...... about 360" class bulls.
Coues 'n' Sheep Report post Posted March 20, 2006 Here is the horn on the right side again. It is a 7 point and would go 360 + with a 35" spread. Someone has the other side we think.... and it is a perfect match 7 point.... we saw this bull in late Nov.

HEADACHE Report post Posted March 20, 2006 Well I managed to get out for a couple hours this morning. I had my two youngsters out with me in the jeep. . . we drove up to the snow country and drove around for a while. Nick is 5 and Chris is 3, so we can't go hiking for hours on end yet. What we did find was a pretty nice 6 point . . . and then we found these hogs laying about 100 yards off the "secretly hidden snowy" dirt road and about 60 yards from each other! I have never found 3 in a day, let alone a matched set like this. . . . I was stoked! 7x8 but one is broken off. best I can rough measure is 52 inches long. Hope the pics do it justice. . . . I'll have to have Josh measure it out, I can't guess what they would go by my lonesome yet. 365??? I was too excited to get pics of them laying in the snow, I just opened the door and took off running after them ha ha ha! The boys were like "daddy where you going so fast?" This shed hunting stuff is pretty cool! I found 4 in two days! I found four in my whole life before last week!
