RodinAZ Report post Posted July 15, 2012 The 6.5 is my favorite caliber, I have both a 260 and a 6.5X47, not much difference in a velocity difference as far as I can tell with my loads. Both are very accurate and the cartridges have proven effective on whitetails. With either of these rifles, I would feel confident taking shots up to 500+ yards depending upon conditions. The 6.5 CM would also be a good choice, albeit no appreciable difference between the other two.
Antmo23 Report post Posted July 16, 2012 I have been looking into the 6.5 creedmore for my daughter, but I may be jumping the gun a little due to the fact that she'll be turning 2 this September... Lol.
STOMP442 Report post Posted July 16, 2012 The 260 Rem provides a slight increase in performance over the creedmore and the 47 with all the added benefits of easily made and affordable brass and reloading dies.
