tylerwcs Report post Posted December 15, 2011 I have the opportunity to sell my mule deer and coues deer hunt in Sonora, Mexico. You can book anytime in late December or January, during the rut. 1 on 1 guide service. Airport pick up and drop off. Gun permit. Private driver. No hassles. 1 to 6 openings available. I booked a group trip but several guys had to drop out, so we are canceling our trip this year. This is a one week (7 day) hunt, all inclusive. Meals, lodging, transportation are included. This is a SAFE hunt only 65 miles from the Hermosillo airport. You are welcome to drive to the ranch yourself or fly in and be picked up. The outfitter will handle all paperwork and clear your gun, no problem. Hunt price is discounted from $15k to $12k. Coues deer are on the ranch and available for a $2k trophy fee. Free javelina. This is an authentic Sonoran hunt, free range animals, 100% fair chase. The hunt will be tailored to your specifications, hunt hard or take it easy. Mule deer taken on the ranch score 170 - 190+. You can shoot any deer you prefer, this is not a price by the inch arrangement. I believe the ranch is over 15,000 acres. Spend each night in the ranch house with full amenities and great food. I am selling this hunt privately to re-coupe my deposit. I have going to Sonora for over 15 years, hunting and working on most every ranch in Sonora. This ranch is not over-hunted and a very good deal. It is a family owned ranch looking to cover their operating costs. This is NOT a commercial hunting operation, I am a friend of the family and the ranch has received very little hunting pressure, ever. They take 3 to 5 bucks per year. It's a great opportunity to hunt big mule deer with a good opportunity to take a 100" coues. I regret having to bow out this year. Contact me for more information and photos. Coues Sniper Report post Posted December 15, 2011 Have you guys priced Carp hunts down there recently? This range is not uncommon. Good luck with sale - some added pics might help you out... Plus I'd just like to see 'em.

It was a group hunt and the group is canceling....that is why there are openings. And 6 openings a year would mean about 3 to 5 deer killed if you care what you're shooting. Not sure why everyone is poo pooing this deal. If you don't have anything nice to say...

tylerwcs Report post Posted December 16, 2011 If they shoot 3 to 5 bucks a year why is there 6 openings? As someone stated earlier, not everyone will shoot a buck if they have something particular in mind. Some folks are looking for a 30" buck, some like kickers and others want a 200" buck or nothing. They are all here in Sonora. They did expand the number of hunters they were willing to take for our group. This is not a high fence operation. The deer are free range, hunted from high rack trucks and on foot. It's hunting, opportunity is where luck and preparation meet. Also a few corrections.... The ranch house is being remodeled so hunters we be staying a nice hotel a few miles from the ranch. This cost and the meals are still included. The ranch is 5500 acres. You can sit around and wait to draw a tag or you can go hunting. I've been doing helicopter captures all over Sonora for the past 13 years capturing mule deer and desert bighorn. I've worked on most of the ranches in the region. I don't make a ton of money but this is a great deal for anyone, like myself, that wants a great deal on a great place to hunt. The hunt is worth the money and the experience is priceless. Someone is going to shoot a 190 inch deer on this ranch in the next few months. These are some of the most hard working, appreciative and happy people you could be fortunate enough to meet. I don't have time to post all of the pictures I have of the great deer that come out of this area. Any serious inquiries can contact me directly and I will pass along everything I have. The rest of you can puff yourselves up and pretend that you know something.

firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted December 16, 2011 I'm sorry but this is funny to me... "I don't make a ton of money but this is a great deal for anyone, like myself, that wants a great deal on a great place to hunt" In this economy, not having a ton of money, but spending $15,000 on a hunt? Helll, my fiances Jeep, a 2011 Patriot cost that same amount!
