frankie928 Report post Posted December 6, 2011 I shot this Bull sunday morning. We saw him as we were setting up the tripods at about 680yds. I put a stalk on him and got within 450yds. Set up on a perferct rock but couldn't see him, i sat there for what felt like an eternity but was probably only a minute when he finally walked out from behind a tree. I gave him a "warning shot" and he ran about 10 yds stopped. I shot again and when the smoke cleared he dropped! He was double lunged with an exit wound the size of over 2 fists. He was in a steep canyon so it took us a day and a half to get him out of there but was well worth it. Big thanks to Randy Aguilera, Nolan Blake Aaron "2 feets" Allen. Also mom & dad, and my babydoll Estelina (she puts up with me)
Pine Donkey Report post Posted December 6, 2011 I have done a few of those warning shots over the years. They just seem to sneak up on you sometimes. Glad the next shot found its mark. Congratulations on a very nice bull.
