mariob Report post Posted December 5, 2011 ok here it is. i am fairly new to hunting and very new to the 6b area that i am going to archery javelina hunt. I am looking for some of you older wiser hunters to help with a little info on where i can start looking, what to look for and so forth. I tried last year going to unit 22 but had a very bad experience down there and of course i didnt see any wildlife while i was there. I know most hunters don't like giving any advice or secrets out but its really just a javelina to most but will be an awesome experience for me. thank you all. BASS Report post Posted December 6, 2011 I hunt them a lot like I hunt everything else out here. Glass em up, and then go get em! The good thing is they usually bed in the same areas and will crap all over it so keeping the wind in your face will let you know when you are getting close. Water, food, and bedding are what you are after. BUT... when you see one, standby. There are probably twenty you arnt seeing!
