GodIsGood Report post Posted December 1, 2011 other forums I visit have rules requiring a "price", even if it includes OBO... so the site doesnt get used to supplement someone's business or side business. Not really a comfortable way to buy - even less notion where you stand than eBay. maybe Amanda oughta create a rule? Luner after this post ill make a TRUE blind auction for a free hug. I hope you bid. This is a best offer and you obviously don't like it so no need to visit this post. But thank you and have a great day!

Perkele! Report post Posted December 1, 2011 So, after reading the original post I decided to join the auction site and bought a small package of bids. After all $18 ain't a big deal and I sure as heck wasn't gonna lose any sleep over it even if I was to waste all of it, which I did. I am very familiar with proper auctions, such as eBay and RM, Adesa, Mannheim. This form of penny auction deal, although may be very profitable for some, definately not my cup of tea. It's kinda like Vegas, the house always wins. Although the items are being sold really cheap the house is making all the money from the bidders. Seriously, which one of us wouldn't wanna be able to pick up an Eberlestock X-1 fo $1.62 ? But when you look at the real picture, $1.62 means 162 people submitted bids, each one of those bidders was probably participating in a few more auctions that were running concurrently as well, since each last minute bid adds more time to the auction clock people go in to a bidding frenzy and without even noticing they depleat the number of bids they had whilst the house is cashing in on the bid packages they sell. Kinda like a carrot on a stick. As I said, not my cup of tea but that doesn't mean that I would be opposed to buying an item from someone who won it at one of these auctions. That's all I have to say about it.
