Redman Report post Posted November 30, 2011 what you gonna hunt? deer and jav then a arrow with a (total) weight of 380-400 grain (including broadhead) is what I prefer (gold tips carbon express and PSE are all great). Elk I like an arrow weighing 450 grains (Easton FMJ). I would visit Broken Arrow in AJ and I am sure the owner will help you pick the best arrow and cut them. Knowing the correct spine is very important. Also what rest is on your bow? Whisker Biscuit tend to be hard on vanes...Blazer vanes work best...... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
