1stcoues75 Report post Posted November 27, 2011 After watching my dad succesfully harvesting his first deer earlier this month. I had the pleasure of once again getting to go on my sister late Jr hunt. Opening morning found us hunting some low rolling hills to either find a coues or mule deer, after hunting for a few hours that only produced a few does being seen. We went back to camp to regroup and meet up with a couple of my buddies who were willing to lend a hand to help find her a buck. We decided that we would split up and glass some different canyons. At about 3 o'clock my mom glassed up my sisters buck at about 550 yards. I snuck her to within 305 yards and the rest is history. She killed her 2nd buck on opening day about 200 yards from the spot she killed her first buck 2 years ago. I couldn't be any prouder than I am of my sister now I just hope she sticks with it. When we were packing out the buck my mom snapped a photo and I can honestly say from the face my sister is making its my favorite hunting picture.

Coach Report post Posted November 28, 2011 Wow - how awesome is that??? The whole family out there getting it done! My favorite part..."At about 3 o'clock my mom glassed up my sisters buck". Very cool - congrats to your sister, and great job making it a whole-family endeavor.
1stcoues75 Report post Posted November 28, 2011 Yeah I swear my mom has a set of eyes I would die to have. She glasses without a tripod and can find deer all day long. My wife was reading the post right now and she insisted that I post her favorite picture of the hunt. I can honestly say it is quite comical if you got your mind in the gutter.
