Pine Donkey Report post Posted December 11, 2011 Some reports are still saying Jim Leavitt is still in the mix. He would also be very good. As long as they gave up the ideas of June Jones and Hue Jackson.

As long as they gave up the ideas of June Jones and Hue Jackson. I think Leavitt would be a great hire. Maybe he can finally bring some much needed discipline to the team. bonecollector Report post Posted December 11, 2011 I think Leavitt would be a nice hire as well! Look at what he did at South florida and now what he's doing in the nfl with probably the best linebacking core in the league!

Yeah if they don't he will grab them by their throats, slap them in their face....then LIE about it.... he'd be a great fit in the shadows of Frank Kush.... Even though when he was a USF they were a VERY undisciplined team.... I hope this rumor stated by John Gruden holds up....ASU will suck again

Pine Donkey Report post Posted December 14, 2011 If Crow does not act very quickly he will lose staff and recruites. At this point Love, Patterson, and Crow have bumbled every serious candidate to the point that nobody with any name recognition will even talk seriously with them. At this point they need to try to protect the 2012 recruiting class. To do this they need to name Noel Mazzone as interim head coach for one year. This will calm the storm, protect the recruites, retain key staff, give time to replace Love and Pattersen, and time to hire a quality coach. Anything else will be a case of settling for mediocrity in a failed attempt to save face.
