Non-Typical Solutions Report post Posted November 24, 2011 Big pre-turkey dispute over the correct pronounciation of this word. All I have ever heard it pronounced is Matazal not realizing that there is an extra Z in there........what do ya say out there??? What is it??? Some language rule silent Z??? .270 Report post Posted November 25, 2011 correct is ma-zat-zal. but gringos have corrupted it. sorta like ma-zat-lan. and when you correctly pronounce a "z" in the mexican tongue it sounds more like an "s". but who pernounces inything c'rectly?
