Red Rabbit Report post Posted November 22, 2011 If you need a place to see this weekend and are not lucky to be hunting coues or elk, the trees along Oak Creek near Sedona are still changing. There are some nice creekside colors from Slide Rock, through Sedona, and down to Red Rock Crossing. A creekside hike may be a good place to use up the pumpkin pie calories. This picture was taken Sunday evening to give you an idea. Happy Thanksgiving to y'all.

firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted November 24, 2011 Theres a real nice (not) hike to the touwers on the top of Casa Grande Mountains. The dead cholla, half alive saguaros, and brown rocks are just as pretty as the Red Rock Crossing... (all lies, but it works to get the legs in shape for the upcoming Coues hunt!)
