Arizona Griz Report post Posted November 10, 2011 a large number of today's bowhunters favor the bigger number which is gross score. I personally know more than a dozen bowhunters who will never enter anything in the record book because they do not care for the net score. And I thought it was all about the animal. What was I thinking? I think you will probably see P&Y do what B&C has done in their record book and that is to also show the gross score for all of those hunters that need to "see" the larger score recognized. TAM Report post Posted November 10, 2011 I don't need a score to know if an animal is big or not. But I do think using a score is a good point of reference when discussing antler size with others. To some a big buck is 90" and to others it's 120" but if I say there is a 110" buck standing on the hill we have a pretty good common understanding of the bucks size. Deductions are for tax returns!
