couesobsession Report post Posted November 7, 2011 Nice shot! Definately longer than I would try, but if you have the skill, you have it. You can tell how far it was by the way that mulie started to jump the string, but that didnt help him much!
azcouesfanatic Report post Posted November 8, 2011 Great buck and a tremendous shot Jed. The video was really awesome. Where we're those shooting skills in August when you were in 3c? Yeah I heard about it. Congrats Brian
OpticNerd Report post Posted November 8, 2011 Nice video thanks for sharing! What happened to your other 2 arrows? At the start of the stalk you had 5 in the quiver and right after you hit the buck you only had 2. You take a couple warning shots first to give the buck a chance or something? sneekfreak Report post Posted November 9, 2011 Nice video thanks for sharing! What happened to your other 2 arrows? At the start of the stalk you had 5 in the quiver and right after you hit the buck you only had 2. You take a couple warning shots first to give the buck a chance or something? Nah !!! Yo dont think the video was edited lol !!!! good catch I guess I should have told everybody I used an arrow to mark shooting location and another to mark first blood. I didn't think people would be so interested in my arrows but rather about the buck. My bad. Penetration was actually really good as the broadhead blew through the front shoulder, then bounced off the back shoulder after breaking it. Hard to see on video. I didn't even know until we were quartering him up to pack out. My buddy lifted up on the leg for me to cut it off and it folded at the shoulder like a taco.
