IHunt2live Report post Posted November 7, 2011 That was fast. I ordered a Vortex scope, one simmilar to the it sounded like you ordered, two months later and I have yet to see it. Apperently Vortex is backordered on several of their products and their factory isn't making them fast enough. I hope the scope ends up be worth the wait! Gut Pile Report post Posted November 9, 2011 I went with the big caliber in hopes of getting better at shooting longer distances in the future. I'm not quite there yet. I wanted a rifle that has the knock-down power for elk, bear, mulies, coues, and speed goats. Figured the 300 ultra would have all those bases covered and once I'm ready, this should be a good caliber for those longer pokes.
