(dragon-fruit is the red one, also there is guayaba, which is one of my favs) Funny thing happened as they arrived and rode the shuttle from the airport. Paul was wearing a CW.com shirt and someone asks them if they were there hunting or fishing. Turns out, the person asking is a member here and on their honeymoon! Might be too early for whales there now but I hear the Blue Water Rafting for whales is the best way to go!! We stay in Kahana just down the road from Napili. Snorkeling in Honolua Bay is awesome!! Chef Report post Posted November 5, 2011 Amanda's been living it up on the island! They've been snorkeling and hitting the beaches and volcanoes. Hitting all the good eats too! Here is some seafood chowder that Amanda said was phenomenal as well as your surf & turf plate... Toasted coconut creme brulee and pineapple tiramisu... Here is Amanda's breakfast one morning, fresh local fruit... They got to check out a local favorite called "Mammas Fish House" Fresh Mahi Mahi with smoked wild boar, baked plantains; sweet potato; passion fruit! I've never tried this but it's "Chili water"; made by cooking down Hawaiian chilis and garlic... Awesome sushi! (now I have to TOTALLY deal with a sushi snob when she comes back) Here is Paul goofin' around inside a huge Banyan tree!
