primetime Report post Posted October 28, 2011 HI, lost 10 year old's 1st .243 on 1st white tail hunt while scouting on F.S. road 647. This road is off hwy 188 Roosevelt Lake. It's across from Bachelor Cove and Cholla Bay area of Roosevelt. Parked and left gun against truck. Drove up the 647 road, its a horse shoe shaped road and realized left gun. Drove around the horse shoe, came back but gun was gone. We lost it on Thurs 10-20-11 between 0800 and 1030 a.m. I assume a hunter found it driving in. I would pay $200.00 to find it. My son didn't even get to shoot it. Rough way to start the hunt and it didn't get any better. Thanks for the help. E-mail me at wrodeotime@aol.com or call 928-853-6775. I don't believe it was stolen, just found and recovered not knowing who the gun belongs to. I have reported it to game and fish and Sheriff so hopefully we locate it. Lesson learned the hard way.
