cardawg Report post Posted October 24, 2011 Just got back from 3 days in unit 8 trying to fill my first ever AZ Whitail tag,seen lots of Deer ,mule deer that is and a ton of Elk,including some monsters,We saw only 3 whitelails so far all of them Does,heading back thur for another try.I thought I was in pretty good shape,but unit 8 is kicking my butt,deep canyons and thick brush make for a hard day.Hope for a better report later this week Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
oz31p Report post Posted October 24, 2011 Keep at it. Its easy the get discouraged. I've found that in the super thick country its best to get as high as possible so you can glass down into the beds and it gives a view over bushes that at eye level block your view. Good luck.
