Cut up an onion every night and put it on a plate by your bed when you go to sleep.

My wife made me try this last year!!! HaHa!

As a fellow RV'er the goto is Los Dos Molinos. Not all chilies are created equal. You have to look for the Hatch "Hots" and "Super hots". It sounds like you are way ready to move up from those common "Big Jim" chilies. I'd go with a relleno with seeds, side o' pasole or menudo. At leaset the full belly will distract you from the cold symptoms.

Feel better,

Garron

Yes to this, too!!!! I've been a fan of Los Dos Molinos since they first opened the "A-frame" joint on Main 20 years ago! That amazing salsa and Green Chili will clear you out! Also a big fan of the Adobada Ribs! ;)

:)

PS: Craving it now...... Looks like the kids and I might be making a trip to Los Dos tonight for dinner!

since eddie died they don't seem to make things quite as hot. he liked to watch folks sweat. i've been chompin' on pickled jalapenos that my buddy grew and canned. i'm about out. but i am feelin' a little better today. beat up a couple hippies at the qt this mornin' and it did make me feel better. they were wimmin hippies, but one of em put up a purty good fight. Lark sorry for the hi-jack! I miss Antionette's more than home, and your right Vicky runs the kitchens in Phx and they have toned it down. As far a the cold remedy:

Granolas at QT will help, but you need the full stregth ones from Sedona or Norcal for the full effect!

Stan, Thanks for rubbing it in!

Also a big fan of the Adobada Ribs! ;)

A place called Los Tocos in AJ has the best adobada I've ever had. Its kind of like a nice Filly-B's with WAY better food. I eat there once a week when I'm at work and get burritos to go for most weekends out in the hills. It is definately worth a try for your adobada fix.

Fresh garlic - Chop it up and take it like a pill!

Take some Niacin boil up some hot tea , draw a hot bath / Jacuzzi - When the Niacin flush/rush hits get into the hot Jacuzzi/bath and drink as much hot tea as you can! This will burn out the most stubborn cold/cough - Works for me!

"gearsnagger" is on the right track, my wife always makes us take a super hot bath or Jacuzzi. As hot as you can stand it till your sweating and stay in there! She calls it a self induced fever (which is your body's way of killing off bacteria and viruses.) Fevers make us feel like crud so we take Ibuprofen to get rid of the fever and then the little buggers run rampant making colds/flu last longer. Goal is around 101 degrees, higher can be harmful to adults. Worth a try and might clear out your head a bit too.

i seen a guy do that one time. the can says snuff on it and he thought it was that kinda snuff. he literally covered the dashboard with snot in a brand new z-28 camaro. he thought he was gonna die and wanted us to take him to the hospital. i laughed so hard i had to sit down. only time i use tobacco is to cure a dog o' worms. it works real well for that.
