I have combined all of the old hunting lists I made of the years, and made one ULTIMATE HUNTING list in excel. I broke up my gear into food, hunting supplies and camping supplies. Within each category I broke up, color coded, and alphabetized items based on if they go in my hunting pack, my plastic bin, clothes bag, or loose in the back of the truck. I have packed all of my gear twice. I compulsively check this web site often enough that I probably need to see a psychiatrist. I hope to shoot a buck half as nice as what a lot of these jr. hunters have been posting. As of 10:00 a.m. this morning: Leave the house for camp- 79 hrs Alarm goes off opening morning- 90 hrs 30 min First minute of legal shooting light - 92 hrs 32 min Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Heck, I would be hard pressed to have a packing list. I just get out all my stuff. go yep, nope, maybe... (the only maybe that gets packed every year and has never been opened is rain gear) HAHAHAHA color coding it for what it goes in? Heck no... I would hate to see his garage and pantry... I need the color coded list so I don't get out in BFE and realize the thing I need is at home in a pile of stuff. The list is on my home computer.
