azrckcrwl Report post Posted October 16, 2011 My dad took him up to heber Thursday night since I had to work. I got home around 2 am to a sick baby, got to bed around 4:30. At 9:15 I wake up to my phone ringing. I answer the phone and it's my fiancee, she YELLS at me "what are you doing? Get up! Your son killed an elk down in a canyon and you have to get up there now, bye" He shot her at 8:30, apparently my dad never even saw the cows because he was looking at a huge bull. The shot even scared my dad. My dad says he heard the shot, looked at my sob and had to ask him of he shot something. "did you shoot one?" "yes grampie." "did you hit it?" "yep." "are you sure?" "yes grampie." "How could you tell?" "because she's laying right there dead." I got to camp at 12 took us until 1:30 to get the rest out.
