G & F have a meeting on the 9th in Tucson for public input (ya right) and one last meeting on the 11th in Pheonix then they will make thier recomendations for the 2006 changes. I do not believe there is a hard date for regs to come out, as usual there is a controversy filled cluster in the G & F ranks.

So to answer your question.........who knows, I think that the fees will go up somewhere from 30 to 40% but that is a W.A.G.

I hope to see some fellow CWT at the Tucson meeting in one week!

I heard at a G&F Meeting that starting in 07, the drawings for antelope and elk will be much earlier than the rest of the Fall Drawings. This will allow people to more time to plan for the antelope and elk hunts. Sounds like a good idea, but I have to wonder how they are making more money off of it.

The way I am understanding the fee increases is that they will increase over a period of time, I expect them to increase 30-40% for the 2006 hunts but like I said it is just a W.A.G. I would be surprised if the permit fees did not increase until 2007.

I think it's George Bush's fault.

Ok you went and did it Rembrant, you read the arizona republic, or watched any channel on tv except FOX, because we can blame Bush for everything, at least that is what they tell us. B) ;)

That would be a great idea. I want start planning more hunts across different states and this would make things alot easier.

Thanks Keith, I'm glad I'm not the only person in the world who is seeing that.
