northtoalaska Report post Posted October 29, 2011 I hunt the other side off of Reddington Pass. I pulled out a huge 4x4 a couple of years back near Bellota ranch. You'll have to glass a lot in the morning and evening but I've had luck hunting the draws and thickets in the evenings. Hunted that area and ended up shooting a small buck but the bullet was directed to a 4x4. it was early and my spotter said it was a clean shot, just to find out that i had hit a 2x2 that was standing as to his shoulder! Needless to say i took a guy back out 2 days later to chase the 4x4 and we seen him but could not get a shot! PS thanks to all you guys for your pointers!! seen A lot of bucks some real nice ones!!
