firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted October 3, 2011 picked up a used, Kampfeld Custom thinking my little brother could use it as its a light weight, good caliber and had a decent scope on it. This rifle wears a stainless Remington Model 7 270 wsm, fluted/skelotonized. 22" stainless Lilja barrel, a redish/brownish Brown Precision stock, Contreol stainless rings, Leupold VariX-III 4.5-14x40 AO scope (your choice of that scope of a VX3 6.5-20x40. Factory trigger at about 3-3.5 pounds that breaks crisp and clean with 0 travel, one of the best triggers Ive felt. Gun weighs 6.8 lbs on my bathroom scale The gun is not perfect, it has been hunted but I dont believe shot much. I have noticed a very slight discoloration near the ring bases. I do not believe it to be rust but I have not taken the rings/bases off to try and clean it. I will post pictures when I get home. Asking $1600 shipped in a hard plastic case.
